Today was our longest mileage day so far, but as you can see there was not much up hill. Lots of pictures and a good day for seeing wildlife:

Wild Camping again on BLM land, lots of Coyotes tonight but slept great, stars were amazing!

Tuesday, August 25th, 50.5 miles and 1632 accumulated vertical feet up

Today we got out kinda early, had a great ride. Then we stopped in Island Park, Idaho for a late lunch early dinner at about 3:00 when it started raining, not hard, but the radar looked threatening. We got a hotel room…. I changed my back tire and replaced my back brakes while Scott spent some time in the hot tub, nice change of pace….

Prong Deer, assuming he’s looking out for his herd
Beautiful morning as we move towards Idaho
I’m becoming obsessed with these old log buildings we have seen throughout Montana
Mt. Baldy
Lower Red Rocks Lake, beautiful around here
Sand Hill Cranes
Moose
😊 Madison is leaving Cincinnati today to go work under the “Atlantic Flyway”, talked two young US Forestry Service employees as they refilled our water bottles in the Lakeview Montana Ranger Station (Red Rocks Lakes National Wildlife Refuge in Centennial Valley) about her new duties, they were very excited to hear about the work she will be doing.
Upper Red Rock Lake
