If you’re looked at the packing list you are probably wondering how in world is he going to get that stuff on the bike.

Yes I checked the list at least several times. Before loading I packed the bags and I weighed it all, so total weight of gear is 41 pounds and the weight of the bike is 39 pounds (with the triangle bag, handlebar bag, rack and various brackets), 80 pounds and that’s without water in the bottles.
We rented a one way pickup truck from Enterprise, picked it up at CVG, brought it back to our house and carefully loaded Griz & his traveling partner Kudzu. Jenny said goodbye and down the road we go!

Some things you have missed:
Saturday was Peyton’s High School graduation party. Saturday was Jenny’s 65th birthday, Saturday the grandkids and their parents gave me my official Loving Sendoff Hugs. Then Sunday early morning Katie & Whitney stopped by & made us breakfast and wished me happy travels! Very emotional and loving text messages were received from Taylor and Madison. My family is awesome!

Sunday night we spent in a hotel in Johnson Creek, Wisconsin….
